Health Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA
Employees are eligible for health insurance benefits on the first day of employment. We offer a choice of an HMO or PPO plan. Each plan includes Domestic Partner coverage, annual health club and weight-loss reimbursements and discounts on eyewear.
Dental Insurance: Delta Dental
Employees are eligible for dental benefits on the first day of employment. In addition to our comprehensive plan, we offer child and adult orthodontia and rollover on unused annual maximums.
Vision Service: (VSP)
Employees are eligible for vision benefits on the first day of employment. This is a supplemental benefit to Momenta's health insurance plans. Coverage includes lenses covered in full every 12 months, new frames (valued up to $130) every 12 months or 24 months (depending on plan selection). Contact lens wearers receive $130 towards the cost of contacts and lens exams.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow employees pre-tax savings on eligible Medical and Dependent Care expenses.
Group Insurance Coverage
Employees are eligible for an umbrella of insurance benefits. Coverage includes life insurance, accidental death, short-term and long-term benefits.
Paid Time Off
Employees accrue 3 weeks vacation time each calendar year, 4Personal Days and 9 Holidays per year (may be prorated dependent upon when employment commences).
401(k)Plan
Employees can contribute up to 60% of their annual salary into their 401(k) plan. Momenta matches 50% of employee's first 6% of annual earnings contributed.
Educational Assistance Program
Employees are eligible for reimbursement of up to $5,250 per calendar year for eligible courses.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in a stock purchase plan twice a year. The purchase price is discounted by15%.
Employee Assistance Plan
Access is provided to an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which offers 24-hour unlimited, confidential telephonic counseling to employees and immediate family members on issues ranging from legal and financial problems to personal counseling.
Health Club Corporate Subsidy Program
Momenta encourages employees to participate in local health clubs. Discounted rates and a subsidy are available when employees enroll in eligible clubs.
Commuting Benefit
Employees are provided with full transportation benefits for commuting into Cambridge.
